Elizabeth House

Welcome to Elizabeth House

A Different Kind of Supported Living

Elizabeth House offers a unique and empowering supported living experience for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and complex health needs such as epilepsy and diabetes. Set within a safe and welcoming environment, our service combines the freedom of independent living with tailored support that’s available 24 hours a day, if and when it’s needed.

Each individual lives in their own modern, self-contained flat, creating a sense of privacy, autonomy, and ownership over their personal space. This setup not only supports independence but also promotes dignity and choice, key principles in everything we do.

At Elizabeth House, we take a person-centred approach to care. Our experienced and compassionate team works closely with each person to understand their needs, preferences, and goals. This means support is never one-size-fits-all. Instead, it’s flexible, responsive, and built around helping people live the life they choose.

We place great emphasis on developing life skills—like cooking, budgeting, and self-care, while also encouraging people to engage with education, hobbies, social activities, and work-based opportunities. Whether someone is learning new skills, reconnecting with interests, or simply enjoying day-to-day routines, we provide the right level of guidance and reassurance.

In addition, our dedicated staff receive ongoing specialist training, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to support a wide range of health conditions and complex needs. As a result, individuals and families can feel reassured that expert help is always close by.

Elizabeth House isn’t just a place to live, it’s a place where people are supported to thrive, build confidence, and move forward at their own pace. With the right support in the right setting, independence really is possible.

Amenities

High-Quality, Accessible Supported Living Accommodation Designed for Independence and Comfort

Elizabeth House offers eight beautifully renovated, self-contained supported living flats. Each flat is designed to promote comfort and independence.

Every flat includes a bedroom, lounge, fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom with a wet room or shower room.

Four flats are on the ground floor, ideal for people with mobility needs or who prefer step-free access to their home.

Upstairs, there are four more flats. Three of these have two bedrooms, offering extra space and greater flexibility.

These larger flats suit people needing a sleep-in staff member, higher support, or simply more room to enjoy.

Each flat has its own front door, providing privacy, independence, and a real sense of ownership and security.

Outside, a spacious private garden creates a perfect space for barbecues, socialising, or simply enjoying fresh air and sunshine.

This peaceful outdoor area supports wellbeing and helps people feel part of a welcoming, supportive environment.

At Elizabeth House, high-quality homes are matched with flexible support. It’s a different kind of care, focused on freedom and choice.

Virtual Tour

At Elizabeth House, feeling safe, comfortable, and in control of your surroundings is essential. Our virtual tour gives you the opportunity to get to know the environment beforehand, helping you feel more prepared, relaxed, and confident ahead of your visit.

Exploring the space in advance can help reduce anxiety by removing the uncertainty of a new environment. At Elizabeth House, where individuals have their own private, self‑contained flats designed to promote independence and personal space, becoming familiar with the layout ahead of time can provide reassurance and a greater sense of control. This early familiarity supports a smoother, more positive introduction to a setting that is designed to feel both safe and empowering.

To begin your journey, simply click the full screen button in the bottom right-hand corner of the tour and follow the arrows to move through Elizabeth House. You can explore each area at your own pace, revisit spaces as needed, and gain a clear understanding of the environment, helping you feel comfortable, supported, and at ease from the very first step.
